A sawn acoustic fence panel is a type of timber panel designed to help reduce noise pollution. Featuring a rough-sawn finish for a more traditional rustic appearance. The acoustic properties come from a solid, dense construction, typically using overlapping boards to minimise gaps and reflect sound.

Key features

Noise reduction: The panel’s design incorporates thick, interlocking boards and a heavy build to effectively block and absorb unwanted noise from roads, railways, or neighbours.
Robust construction: Sawn acoustic panels are built for durability and strength, with a solid timber frame. The dense construction also makes them more resilient against heavy winds.
Treatment: To protect against rot, decay, and insect attack, the timber is pressure-treated (tanalised). This preserves the panel and ensures a long service life, even with a rough finish.
Finish: The rough-sawn texture provides a more traditional, rugged aesthetic compared to the smooth, planed finish of “deluxe” acoustic panels.
Installation: For the best soundproofing performance, it’s recommended to install acoustic panels with a sealed base, such as by using a timber gravel board, and to ensure posts are also sealed to prevent sound leaks

Delivery & Fitting

Most of our products are manufactured at our factory in Castleford. We offer a local and nationwide delivery service starting at only £20.

We aim to deliver locally within 3 to 7 days and nationwide via the pallet network in 10 to 14 days.

Once your order has been placed, a member of our sales team will contact you, usually within 48 hours, to arrange delivery or collection.

We deliver between 8 am and 5 pm on weekdays and 8 am and 12 pm on Saturdays ( Local only on Saturdays ).
